Police looking for two suspects following stabbing in Oshawa

Police are looking for a pair of suspects after two men were stabbed inside a home in Oshawa Wednesday (April 10) night.

Officers were called to the Brock Street East residence around 8:30 p.m. and learned that two male suspects confronted the victims.

“During the altercation, one victim was stabbed numerous times and struck in the head with a hammer. The other victim was also stabbed. The suspects fled on foot. Both victims were transported by ambulance to a Toronto trauma centre. One male had life-threatening injuries but is now in stable condition. The other male was treated and released,” reads a media release from police.

“Investigators have little information at this time on suspect descriptors and would like any witnesses to come forward. Investigators don’t believe that this was a random incident.”

Anyone with new information is asked to contact Detective Constable Broadfoot at 1-888-579-1520, ext. 2291.
