Police looking to track down suspect in Uxbridge assault

Police have issued a warrant for a suspect after a victim was allegedly assaulted with a bottle in Uxbridge last week.

According to the DRPS, officers were called to a convenience store on Brock Street West around 8 p.m. on March 20 after a 24-year-old male was found on the roadway with significant facial injuries

“It appears that there was a physical altercation between the victim and the suspect at a nearby apartment. The accused then struck the victim in the head with a bottle,” reads a media release.

“There were other witnesses present, however some of the witnesses were reluctant to speak to police. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.”

Jesse Gunn, 30, of no fixed address is wanted for assault with a weapon and assault cause bodily harm. He is described as male, white, six-feet tall, short brown hair, facial hair.
