Residents won’t be paying as much to hit the ice for public skating at Brock Township arenas next fall.
Members of council signed off on a new fees bylaw at Monday (March 11) afternoon’s meeting of the finance committee, reducing the admission cost for those aged five and older from $5 to $3.
“There was some discussion that the rates were unaffordable,” Treasurer Laura Barta told members of council.
The $10 family rate for public skating will remain in effect.
