Commercial manure spreader stolen from township farm

Police are looking to track down those responsible for the theft of a commercial manure spreader from a farm in Brock Township.

Sometime between Feb. 12 and Feb. 22, the victim had his manure spreader stolen from his property near Highway 12 and Concession 8 Brock. As the stolen machine is normally towed by a large tractor, the suspect – or suspects – would have towed it off the property.

The vehicle is described as mid 1980s New Holland Model 795 manure spreader with yellow wheels. The estimated replacement value of a new machine is approximately $40,000. Police included a photo of a similar vehicle with the media release.
