Police searching for two suspects after break-in at Uxbridge home

The DRPS has released surveillance images in the hopes of identifying two men who broke into an Uxbridge home a couple of weeks ago.

According to police, two male suspects entered a residence on Concession Road 4 in Uxbridge shortly after 8 a.m. on Jan. 23. They stole two safes, which contained personal items, a rifle and ammunition. The suspects fled in a pickup truck also stolen from the residence.

Later that day, the stolen vehicle was found abandoned a short distance away.

One of the suspects was wearing a brown camouflage jacket, with a dark hood over his head and green rubber boots with brown soles, while the other was wearing a black jacket, with a grey hood over his head, dark pants with a pinstripe, and black and white shoes

Anyone with new information about this investigation is asked to contact D/Cst. Guthrie of the North Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 3981.

Anonymous information can be sent to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and tipsters may be eligible for a $2,000 cash reward.
