Update: Police say the missing teen was found “safe and sound” at a Bowmanville home on Wednesday (Jan. 30) night.
Police continue to search for a missing 15-year-old girl from Clarington who was last seen nearly two weeks ago.
In a media release Monday (Jan. 28), the DRPS provided updated information about her appearance and possible location.
“Arianna Bambrough may have dyed her hair a different colour, possibly bleach blonde. Possible sightings of her have been reported in the White Oaks area of Whitby and in Lindsay, Ontario,” it reads.
“She was last seen in the Longworth Avenue and Liberty Street North area of Bowmanville on January 16, 2019. Her last contact with family was on Sunday, January, 20, 2019. She has gone missing in the past, but not for this length of time.”
Bambrough is described as female, white, about 5’4” tall, thin build and long hair that is possibly dyed red or blonde. She has a nose ring on her right nostril.
Anyone with information as to her whereabouts is asked to contact their local police service.
