Volunteers needed as Brock’s Big Bite makes the move back to Beaverton

After a two-year stint in Cannington, Brock’s Big Bite is moving back to Beaverton in 2019.

Now in its ninth year, the ‘festival of food and friends’ is a day-long celebration of all Brock Township has to offer.

Prospective volunteers are invited to a community meeting on Thursday (Jan. 10) from 7 to 9 p.m. at The Meeting Place on Simcoe Street to learn more about this year’s event.

“With the return to Beaverton we will be looking for more help from start to finish in a variety of areas,” reads a post on social media.

Some of those roles include vendor liaison, volunteer co-ordinator and entertainment co-ordinator.

Organizers are also looking for new local food connections, vendors and entertainers.

“Help us make the return to Beaverton even bigger and better than previous festivals,” the post reads.
