Beaverton restaurant, Lions Club team up to make $4,000 donation to Brock Community Food Bank

A Beaverton restaurant and the village’s Lions Club delivered quite the Christmas gift for the Brock Community Food Bank.

Real Desnoyers of the Cedar Point Market Restaurant made a donation of $2,500 to the food bank, while the Lions contributed $1,500 – the proceeds of the club’s annual Christmas tree sale.

“The Brock Community Food Bank is overwhelmed by the generosity of the Lions, who continually give the proceeds from the Christmas Tree Sales,” said Candy Dove.

“Real of Cedar Point Market Restaurant’s donation was remarkable.  Each year, he puts out a challenge to the Lions to match his donation. This year, he was very proud to have surpassed them. We’re very humbled to be on the receiving end of these donations. I have always maintained we have an awesome community.”
