Santa’s first stop in Brock comes Friday night in Beaverton

More than three dozens entries have already been lined up for the Beaverton Santa Claus parade on Friday (Nov. 16) night.

The parade, which is organized by the village’s Lions Club, is set to get underway at 7 p.m.

Prior to the start, a number of businesses will be taking part in an evening open house.

After the parade, families are invited to visit with Santa at the Beaverton Fire Hall where they can also pick up a treat bag from the volunteer firefighters while enjoying a free hot chocolate, courtesy of the Lions Club.

Parade participants should be at the Beaverton Curling Club by 6:30 p.m. on the night of the parade to register.

For more information or to register in advance, contact Chris Gillespie at Davis Hardware or send an email to santaclausparade@beavertonlions.ca

The parades in Cannington and Sunderland are booked for Nov. 24 and Dec. 8, respectively. For more information, click HERE.
