Two people are facing charges after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Bobcaygeon over the weekend.
According to the OPP, police and emergency services personnel responded to the incident, which occurred on Head Street, shortly before 4 a.m. on Sunday (Nov. 11).
Police say that preliminary investigation indicates that a vehicle was driven towards pedestrians resulting in one person being struck. The victim was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
“Involved parties were known to each other,” reads a media release issued Wednesday (Nov. 14)
Brandon Finlay, 23, of Lindsay has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor Vehicle, assault with a weapon, and fail to stop at the scene of an accident.
Heather Harding of Lindsay has been charged with assault with a weapon.
