Police ask for public’s help finding missing Georgina man

Police are seeking public assistance in locating a missing 60-year-old man from the Town of Georgina.

Larry Broomer was last seen on Wednesday (Aug. 15) at approximately 10:30 a.m., when he left his residence on Metro Road North in Georgina, according to York Regional Police.

Investigators are concerned for his well-being and are asking anyone with information to contact police.

The man is described as male, white, 60 years old with a thin build and grey and black hair. He was wearing a plaid shirt, blue jeans, a brown belt and construction boots.

In a social media post, police described the man as “vulnerable”.
