Pilot forced to make emergency landing on Highway 12 in Sunderland

The pilot of a small passenger plane was forced to make an emergency landing on Highway 12 near Sunderland early Sunday (June 3) morning.

While no information has formally been released, reports indicate the pilot was forced to land following engine trouble on a flight from the Oshawa airport.

No injuries were reported.
