wormsThe worms used tin the Nourish Community Hub’s vermicomposting program are missing and the organization is asking for the public’s help in bringing them home.

According to a Facebook post, the worms were noticed missing on Wednesday (May 30), after recently being moved outdoors. They were last seen in their home at the Nourish Community Hub.

“Their home is now empty and no worms to be found,” read the post.

The worms are a special species, known as Red Wiggler Worms, not to be mistaken for earth worms. The species is used specifically to compost food waste.

Anyone with information about the worms’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Nourish and Develop Foundation at 705-432-2444.
