Two people have been charged after a reported stabbing in Georgina on Monday (April 30).
According to York Regional Police, Justin Fahey, 24, turned himself in Wednesday (May 2) after a province-wide warrant was issued for his arrest. He is charged with aggravated assault, weapons dangerous and two counts of breach of probation. He was expected to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Newmarket the same day.
Tamara McFarlane, 20, of Georgina, who was arrested Tuesday (May 1), has been charged with aggravated assault and obstruct police officer. She was also expected to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Newmarket on Wednesday.
Police had been called to a Dalton Road home around 10:30 a.m. Monday with regards to an injured person. When emergency services arrived, they found a male victim suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
