Suspect sought after stabbing in Georgina
A province-wide warrant has been issued for the arrest of a 24-year-old man, after a 23-year-old man was stabbed in the Town of Georgina.
On Monday (April 30), at approximately 10:30 a.m., York Regional Police were called to a residence on Dalton Road in Georgina in regards to an injured person. When emergency services arrived, they located a male victim suffering from a stab wound. Police say he was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect has been identified as Justin Fahey of Georgina and a province-wide warrant has been issued for his arrest. Investigators are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect and are encouraging him to seek legal counsel and turn himself in to police.
Police say a female suspect has also been arrested. They are reportedly investigating her involvement in the incident.
Fahey is described as male, white, 24 years old, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
Police say charges against Fahey include aggravated assault, possession of a weapon and two counts of breach of probation.
