Police are reminding motorists to make sure that ice and snow are cleared from their vehicles following the weekend storm.
The DRPS shared a photo on social media Monday (April 16) morning that showed a vehicle that sustained serious damage after it was hit by ice that flew off another vehicle.
“This female driver is lucky to walk away without any injuries after a huge chunk of ice from another vehicle crashed into her windshield. This is an important reminder for motorists to clean off all snow/ice from your vehicle, including the roof, hood and all windows for safety,” the post reads.
