To the editor:

I live in Brock and three separate times in the last couple months I have seen a volunteer firefighter with the flashing (green) lights trying to get past and people refusing to stop. Most recently was this morning (April 12), myself and the person behind me (we were oncoming) pulled over for the volunteer but the driver directly in front of him would not.

It breaks my heart when I see this as I know those few seconds can be life or death or the saving or loss of a home.

I was wondering if you’d possibly be able to post a reminder to people to move over for the green flashing lights.
