Local students are being asked to rally for the Humboldt Broncos – the junior hockey team from Saskatchewan that was involved in a horrific bus crash – by wearing jerseys to school on Thursday (April 12).

Many local schools are taking part in the initiative following the tragic accident on Friday (April 6) night.

Fifteen people died after the crash involving a bus, which was carrying 29 people including the driver, and a semi-trailer. Another 14 people were injured — some critically — in the collision.
