Durham police are investigating a break-in at the Beaverton Legion.

Though details have not been released, the organization confirmed the break-in through social media.

“The Legion was broken into early this morning, Durham Regional Police are investigating and we will announce our reopening as soon as we are able,” the post reads.

“We have been asked not to discuss the matter further until police have completed their work. Thanks for your understanding.”
