The intersection of Highway 12 and Regional Road 48, near Gamebridge, is closed after police say a tractor trailer knocked down hydro lines.

In a social media post at approximately 12:30 p.m. Monday (Feb. 12), Durham Regional Police said the wires, hanging down and on the road, may be live.

The roads were closed in all three directions and were expected to remain closed for approximately two hours.
