Georgina firefighters took to the frozen waters of Lake Simcoe Sunday (Feb. 11) to rescue an injured snowmobiler.

While few details of the accident have been shared, a social media post indicates that the victim was injured after hitting a pressure crack.

There’s been no word on the severity of the injuries sustained.
