The Brock/Norma Green Christmas Wish program delivered a happy holiday season to 95 families—including 185 children – across the township this year.
Named after its long-time co-ordinator, who passed away in 2012, the program has distributed gifts to families across the township for more than two decades.
The hall at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Beaverton was once again packed with donated items, which were sorted, wrapped and delivered to local families by volunteers.
Program co-ordinator Ron Haines said he was once again floored by the outpouring of support.
“I know I say this every year but the community has been amazing,” he told The Brock Voice back in December.
