Though there’s still a few more days to go, the Brock-Norma Green Christmas Wish program is on track to deliver a happy holiday season to close to 90 families across the township.

Named after its long-time co-ordinator, who passed away in 2012, the program has distributed gifts to families across the township for more than two decades.

The hall at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Beaverton is once again packed with donated items, which are being sorted, wrapped and delivered to local families by volunteers.

Program co-ordinator Ron Haines said he’s once again floored by the outpouring of support.

“I know I say this every year but the community has been amazing,” he said.

“We had eight new sponsors sign up this year.”
