A Trent Lakes man was was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Kirkfield Road yesterday (Dec. 11).

According to the OPP, Daryl Beckford, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Though few details on the accident have been released, it occurred around 12:30 p.m.

Kirkfield Road was closed for several hours between Centennial Park Road and Brechin Road for the police investigation, reopening around 5 p.m.

The driver of the other vehicle was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
