An Oshawa woman is facing six counts of theft and fraud after more than $73,000 went missing from three storage businesses, including two near Brock Township.

According to the Durham Regional Police, the woman worked for the three companies between January of 2012 and August of 2017. She had been hired to manage each business, send invoices for rental payments and deposit payments.

She is alleged to have taken more than $50,000 from a Port Perry company (from January 2012 to November 2014), more than $18,000 from a company in Whitby (January 2014 to December 2016) and more than $5,800 from a Woodville-area company (January to August 2017).

Barbara Fallow, 52, of Central Park Boulevard in Oshawa has been charged with three counts of theft over $5,000 and three counts of fraud over $5,000.

She was released on a promise to appear.
