Local residents can help scare away hunger with a visit to a haunted house in Beaverton.
James and Julie Garland – owners of Garlands on Simcoe Street – have transformed their family home for Halloween, including the creation of a castle maze, and are inviting residents of all ages out for a tour. All that’s required in return is a donation of a non-perishable food item for the Brock Community Food Bank.
Donations can be dropped off at the business from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The haunted house runs from 6 to 9 p.m. on Halloween (Oct. 31).
