Police are searching for witnesses following a bizarre accident in Port Perry on Thursday (July 13) afternoon.

Two women were injured, one seriously, when a car became pinned under a large tractor

According to the OPP, the tractor was on Highway 7A around 2 p.m. when it collided with an Audi that was travelling on Simcoe Street.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation and police are encouraging any witnesses — particularly the driver of a white pickup truck — to come forward.
