A young baseball fan from Beaverton had the opportunity of a lifetime over the weekend as she took the field with the Toronto Blue Jays.

Taylor Doucette was named an All Star by the Jays Care Foundation and took part in the player introductions prior to Saturday’s game against the Yankees, standing with outfielder Ezequiel Carrera. She also collected a baseball signed by catcher Luke Miele.

Her family also got the VIP – or MVP – treatment, watching the game from a suite.
